AUTO CAD

AutoCAD stands for Computer-Aided Design. AutoCAD is developed and marketed by Autodesk. It is a software package that allows users to produce accurate designs in both 2D and 3D for a wide variety of project types in the field of architecture, engineering, graphic and interior design.

AutoCAD was introduced in 1979 by Autodesk and since then there has been 35 major updates. AutoCAD is supported both in Windows and Mac.

AutoCAD courses are available as AutoCAD certificate and diploma courses or add-on AutoCAD courses in BTech, BArch and MTech, MArch, and other specializations. At the doctorate level, PhD Architecture or Engineering are the courses that include AutoCAD courses in its course curriculum.
AutoCAD certificate and diploma courses can be pursued after the 12th, by directly enrolling in the course. The admissions to BTech/BArch and MTech/ MArch AutoCAD courses require a valid score in engineering and architecture entrance exams like JEE Main, NATA, GATE, etc. AutoCAD Courses are job-oriented programs that offer salary prospects of INR 4 lakh to INR 9 lakh after completing Autocad Courses in collaboration with BTech in Civil Engineering, depending on the individual's skills.
